My name is Rachel, but more importantly I am mom to Sarah, James, Daniel, our newest Keelan and step-mom to William & Clayton. Lots of times they make me want to bang my head on my desk or run away from home, but most of the time they keep me smiling and certainly make my life interesting. Neely is my other half, my soul mate, the love of my life. He's a musician, audio engineer and all around good guy. He smokes, so he's not perfect, but I'm working on him. On my blog I post things about our blended family, lots and lots of pictures and a recipe from time to time. I hope you enjoy getting to know us!
Sarah is my firstborn, my only daughter. She's part sweet but mostly sassy. Most people think we're sisters when they see us out and about, but Sarah is quick to inform them that I'm old because I'm her mom. She is never without her ipod, her cell phone and her favorite pair of Chuck Taylor's. Sarah is the mom of one beautiful baby girl, Gabrielle Margaret, who just turned one in December.
Gabrielle is my beautiful granddaughter. Nothing is sweeter than this baby girl! She's full of spunk and is just as spirited as her mother. I love spending time with her and getting my girly fix, since I'm mostly surrounded by boys!
James is my second born. My oldest son. He loves football more than life and I love spending a Sunday afternoon watching it with him. James makes me laugh almost daily and he's my go-to guy when something needs to be repaired around the house. He is currently living and working in Middlesboro, Kentucky with my parents and I miss him like crazy!
William is Neely's firstborn. He's sweet and silly and loves Science. He also loves music about as much as his dad and can usually be found listening to his MP3 player. He also loves to help out in the kitchen. Will is in 7th grade this year.
Clayton is Neely's middle child. He's your typical loud boy but is sweet as can be. He loves driving games on the xbox and could live on mac & cheese. Clayton races through everything in life, and is the first to get out of bed, everyday.
Daniel is our first child together. Daniel just turned 6 in August and we decided to have him do another year of Kindergarten. He is doing wonderfully! He enjoys trains and cars and could spend hours watching his siblings play video games. Daniel loves to tell jokes and he makes me laugh every day! Keelan David joined our family on July 29, 2011. He definitely completes us too. He is an absolute joy to have and I could spend all day (and often do) just snuggling him! He is adored by all of his brothers and sister and often manhandled by Gabby.
