Happy Birthday to my

blog!  That's right, it's 2 years old today.  I never thought that I'd keep this going, much less keep it going for two years.  So much has happened in these two years too.  When I started this blog, Daniel was two and not yet potty trained.  Sarah was about to turn 19 and was just getting her license.  James was 16 playing football was all he thought about.  Will & Clayton were 8 & 6 respectively and were living with their mom in Frederick and visiting us every other weekend.  And now?  Now, my daughter will be 21 in 21 days!  Yikes.  James is 18 and just started his first job (about dang time, huh?).  Daniel is 4 and in Pre-K.  Pre-K, people!  And wow, the biggest change of all is Will & Clayton are living here full time now.

We have such a unique blended family and I couldn't be happier with it.  Even if Neely collects more speakers than I have shoes.  Even if James occasionally brings home friends that end up staying.  Even if I'm mostly surrounded by boys that are loud, smelly and full of energy.  Even if Sarah doesn't technically live here anymore.

Here's to many more years of blogging!  I hope that you enjoy following as life happens for us.
